Old Car by *firheruwen is a creative transportation photograph using a fish eye lens technique. I love the vintage feel, which takes you back in time. ( Suggested by PatrickRuegheimer and Featured by PorcelainPoet )

Apart from the fact that this piece caught my eye as it has been awarded a DD, there is another reason it got my attention. A classic car, brought to life further by a fish eye lens, grinning grille seemingly welcoming you into times past. Faded autumn sunlight colours...a photograph that could have been taken years back.

It reminds me so much of my father (who I am glad to say is still very much with us!) who was a keen amateur photographer & still loves classic cars in all their forms.

This picture makes me smile, much as the vehicle is smiling at me.

as best I can recall, some was the normally bright lomography coloring and some was various exclusion, soft light or other layers in photoshop. It was a while ago so I don't remember specifically! I normally just play around until it looks nice!
